Major light Hovdenes Oc (2) WRG 8s. Hovdenes major light was erected in 1916. The small iron cast shed was placed on a small fundament of concrete. The light was illuminated in six different light sectors with two eclipses. The light was from a kerosine oil burner. Beside the light is the old oil shed. On the inside walls you could see notes on former delivieries of kerosine. The boat M/S Tussen delivered kerosine in may 27th 1963. H. Fredriksen from the boat M/T Oksøy delivered kerosine in june 27th 1987. By the sea railings are put up to make it easier to carry the barrels of kerosine.
