The Volunteers
Three years ago the Working Group on Coastal Culture under the Baltic Region Heritage Commitee decided to focus on the volunteers in the cultural heritage sector. The volunteers contribute enormous amounts of time, work, enthusiasm and energy into the sector, but who are these volunteers and why are they doing it?
The member countries of the Working Group decided that each country should make a documentary about a group of volunteers. Five films were made, and the Working Group's film "Who are the volunteers in the cultural heritage sector" is based on fragments of these five national films.
Below you will find the five national documentary films in their original and full length version and at the bottom of the page you will find the Working Group's film, "Who are the volunteers in the cultural heritage sector?"
Enjoy!
