Which dishes from the sea have been the most important for survival of the population along the Skagerrak and Kattegat coasts? Herring and potatoes are a matter of course, but which other fish dishes helped to save the people? And what new opportunities and flavours open up once we start using little known raw materials fraom teh ocean - such as kelp, seaweed and other crops from the sea garden. Three chefs from Sweden, Denmark and Norway and a researcher on seaweed meet at Lindesnes lighthouse to experiment and take us to new tastes and opportunities.
