"Night voyage" is a little film made for the UNESCO - International year of light - 2015. This was a global celebration aimed to create awareness of the important role that light and optical technology play in human life and for the development of society. The year of light aimed to be a source of inspiration, learning and communication. In nature, light is conditional for all life. Without the sunlight, everything would literally lie dead and in darkness. For humanity, the development of light technology, and the different ways of using light has revolutionised society through medicine, communication, culture and entertainment.
