~no:Funnstad for to gravhaugar. Skriftlege kjelder frå 1830-talet fortel om ein offerstein. Den eine gravhaugen var bygt rundt denne. Om lag 20 m bortenfor låg ei skipsgrav. I 1914 vart grava opna, og man fann ein båt på storleik med ein sunnmørsfæring. Båten var klinkbygd med 2-3 bordgangar og høge stamnar. I båten vart det funne omlag 20 perler. Omlag 1 m framfor båten låg eit bronsefat med ei grå leirkrukke i. Under fatet låg eit sverd. Bortsett frå ei brent perle kom alt vekk og båten morkna bort i vårsola~en:Site of find of two burial mounds. Written sources from the 1830s tell of a sacrificial stone, around which one of the mounds was built. About 20 m away lay a ship’s grave. When it was opened in 1914 it revealed a boat of the size of a sunnmørsfæring, a 4-oared rowing boat, clinker-built with 2-3 strakes and high stem and stern. It contained about 20 pearls. Roughly 1 m in front of the boat lay a bronze dish with a grey earthen pot in it. Under the dish lay a sword. Apart from a burnt pearl everything was lost and the boat has rotted in the spring sunshine.
